Approaching a Coach
The CPWD coaches welcome opportunities to dialogue with parents. Parents should feel free to speak with their child’s coach about their child’s progress in swimming or how he or she is fitting into the team. Generally, coaches are available for 10 minutes following a swim practice to speak with parents and answer questions. Whenever possible, please give the coach advance notice that you wish to speak with him or her. We ask that all parents wait to approach the coach until the workout is concluded and the swimmers have exited the water. We want to ensure that our swimmers’ safety and training remain the coach’s sole focus during the workout. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this.
